Intentions :

STEALTH :

  • Oppressive Atmosphere --> A dark trainstation at night with narrow pathways.

  • Multiple Objectives --> Different objectives spread throughout the map making the player go back through visited locations but from different starting points.

  • Different Height Levels --> Three height levels breaking linearity and offering multiple ways of moving through the map.

  • At Least Three Pathes --> Each situation and objective is designed to have at least 3 possible pathes.

LOUD :

  • Open and Action-packed Atmosphere --> Sunny morning on a fast-moving freight train.

  • Linear but Simple Objective --> One singular objective at the end of the map blocked by waves of ennemies.

  • Different height levels --> Three height levels allowing for different approaches on the presented. combat situations.

  • Action-swarm --> Continuous waves of weak ennemies, reinforcing the pace and giving the player a sense of power.

GAME FLOW :

  • The mission starts inside of a private train station owned by Murkywater, the objective is to hack onto the servers with the help of two keycards spread throughout the map.

  • The objectives will change as the mission progresses, forcing the player to explore new locations, or to backtrack from new angles.

  • Once the first part is done, after a small transition, the level will change to a Combat situation aboard an ongoing train.

  • The whole train level is thought around the idea of multiple height levels to attack situations from, as well as the pace of the action with waves of canon fodder coming at the player

  • The level ends when the player gets to the other side of the train, derailing it in the process.
