What is Ouizas?
Ouizas is a tactical/strategy 4v4 game in which you fight your wizard friends in a battle to the death on a ten by ten squared board.

Plan your character's movement and attacks in advance while carefully observing your opponents as they are doing the same. The last one standing will be the winning wizard.

How The Game Works :
In Ouizas, the game is cut between two gameplay phases. First you need to plan the actions of your wizard for the next turn (this includes movement, defending and attacking) while watching what the others are doing in order to dodge their attacks or even strike them while they're vulnerable.

When the timer for this phase is finished, the game then start playing the actions of all players, while they are watching the chaos unfolding.
​
To this effect, you have 5 action points and 4 different possible actions :

Movement

Fireball - A 3x3 area of effect attack

Snipe - A single case attack that traverses shields

Shield - Stops the player but protects against Fireballs.

What I Did :
On this project, I took the role of Producer as well as coder : coming up with the deadlines, making sure they are respected, taking care of integration, while at the same time coding the game structure (turns, saving the player actions, pathfinding...)

We had some challenges during the project, mainly about the pathfinding and actions conflicts that player could create when moving or interacting with the same squares and we've learned a lot by overcoming saidn challenges.
